Guest guest
Hi , I used all different types of stickers, included the paper backed ones... though they were a little more difficult to remove. The best clear backed I found were stickapotamus. They were great. Also, go to the link section and look in decorating tips, there is one link there for stickers... Have fun!! Guest guest
For clear-backed, we used some Suzy Ratto's Brush letters. I also used some Regular letters that worked OK too. They weren't too hard to get off and Goo gone took any remaining adhesive off. Connor (PPO helmet 5/4/04) > I need some decorating help - I'm not the most creative! Guest guest
The Susy Ratto stickers as well as the clear backed Me and My Big Ideas stickers are available at www.scrapbookbargain.com. I ordered a ton from them and those are by far the 2 best brands. The brush letters come in a bunch of prints, including patriotic. I've used paper in the past and they do come off, but it's definitely a pain! It doesn't look as nice either. A couple coats of glossy mod podge on the whole band makes it look great. , mom to Hannah, DOCband #3 3/30 Cape Cod, Ma > > I need some decorating help - I'm not the most creative! Guest guest
I just re-decorated Jakes band for about the 4th time this past weekend (we've only had the band since May 27th). I have used both stickers but found the clear backed ones stay on better and come off easier. This weeks theme is bugs! Jake is a very active 18month old so his helmet is put through a lot in a day. The paper backed stickers when they get scraped up you can tell and the clear backed ones seem to last a wee bit longer without looking horrible. I do tend to re-do the Mod Podge more often. Good luck my 6 year old little girl has a blast decorating the band with me. mom to Jake (18) DOC band 5/27 <andileigh@...> wrote: For clear-backed, we used some Suzy Ratto's Brush letters.
