Guest guest Posted July 9, 2008 Report Share Posted July 9, 2008 My dd was dx'ed two years ago w. very severe Crohn's. She started SCD right after being dc'd from the hospital. Thankfully, she's doing great. She's still on Imuran and I want her OFF (if at all possible ). It's been two years-enough! I'd love to hear other folks' stories of coming off meds (esp. Imuran or 6-MP, etc). Anyone able to go from Imuran to just SCD, or did you have to go to Asacol/Pentasa for a while? She's been very strict for two years, and we're all kind of feeling like " enough already " . But I want her strict on SCD while she's getting off her meds. We're paying for her GI doc out of pocket now, so I need to have as much info at my fingertips before she sees him!
