Just thought I'd gloat a little more. I'm still wired. I can't stop

looking at the before and after pics!

Thanks for all your support along the way. He still has three weeks

to go in the DOC Band, so I'll post again with more giggles when he's

an official grad. Yes, I have sent a few frantic posts looking for

help, and I got it! The beginning was the worst, when I didn't know

anything and his doctors were being so ignorant and awful and

wouldn't help me at all.

I am going to throw a party for all the kids on the block when the

helmet officially comes off. I'll have cake and ice cream and some

games to thank them all for not being mean about the helmet. None of

them teased him at all, even though we live in a rough neighborhood

and I see kids hitting each other all the time. As soon as this band

comes off, I'll sign him up for karate! With his normal round noggin,

I won't have to special order any helmets! HEE HEE HEE HEE HEE HEE!!!
