Guest guest Posted April 28, 2004 Report Posted April 28, 2004 > Mike, > On another note .... was the letter the neurosurgeon wrote to HAP basically a " letter of medical necessity " ? If I may ask, what did HAP have a problem with specifically? Just curious, so I know what to expect. Thanks! > At first HAP said they would pay for it, then they said they would only pay for it after Aidan was in physical therapy for a few months, then they said they wouldn't pay for it. At that point my wife called the neurosurgeon (Dr. Sood...in Southfield) and he wrote the medical necessity letter. After that it was smooth sailing. Mike Quote
