Guest guest Posted June 11, 2005 Report Share Posted June 11, 2005 Joan Yes, it was my son who said that. But, as you know, it just breaks my heart that my daughter can't stand the sight of me. She said in court yesterday that her counselor says she cannot have anything to do with me for at least 6 months. Also, that the counselor said that I should go to counseling and then family counseling for the two of us. Krisitn has never mentioned this to me before, but then how can she, when she WON'T talk to me? LIttle does she know I have been going to counseling. But her counselor hears her side, my counselor hears my side. And what her perspective is and what my perspective is, I am certain are two different things. And I am beginning to think that the reality is probably not as important to them as their perception. I don't know how to deal with that.
