Guest guest
So... we are all home... very, very bored. We are still under tropical storm warning but we are missing something... THE STORM. I mean, Im happy we didnt get hit but this is ridiculous... No rain, no thunder, no lighting, no wind... I mean NOTHING. To give you an idea across the street from our apartment we have a car painting business and, as Im posting, they are painting a compact red car. So the government cancelled work, classes... They made the stores closed at 2:00 pm... Some places are without electricity and Cable TV (Bummer)... The twins are having a wonderful time though since it has been quite comfortable weather today... not as hot as the past few days. But you guys in the states... specially FL, GA, SC and NC... watch out. It seems that Frances is heading your way and is getting stronger... Category 4 Hurricane. Take care, Annie Mom to twins, Ignacio (DOC Grad 5/17/04) & San , PR
Guest guest
Annie, So happy Frances missed you. I was watching it closely today. Of course now it's headed for us (maybe) in SC. DH is thinking of not going on our long weekend trip to see my sis in AZ - uggh! Of course if it does hit us - what is he going to do - hold up the pine trees in our yard - LOL!!! So he has to decide by 6 AM Thursday morning (flight leaves at 6:45 AM). Well actually before then because I have to pack. So I am supposed to be doing my hurricane preparedness stuff when it could end up in Alabama - I'm not very motivated yet. "Ana B. Guest guest
Hi Annie- I am SO glad Frances missed you. My favorite brother in-law (Joe has 8 brothers 1 sister) just moved to San . It looks like a REALLY scary storm! We live in Tampa area. I hope we don't feel the effects of it. I wish it would just go out to sea!
