Guest guest
One thing I found out with my son after he was banded, was that I had him too cool. I had him in just a onsie and put a fan in his room to circulate air, and he was getting too cool. I thought I was doing good for him and in turn was making things too good. After a week of him waking up more than normal and falling asleep in my arms (how nice anyway!!) I put light pants on him (s has great ones) and he has not had a problem since. The fan is also a little more noise in there to soothe him more. Something else you could try, it works great with , is to keep a soft lamp on while he goes to sleep. I found out the hard way that doesn't like to " go to sleep " in the dark. I keep a regular lamp on in his room until he is sound asleep and then turn it off. I do have a night light just in case of those late nights too. Good luck, I know how those rough nights can be. Hang in there. We may be getting ready to go through some ourselves, teeth are starting to show signs of coming soon. Let us know if we can help anymore. Guest guest
, I agree with Robyne. Could he possibly be chilled? We have our A/C set to 71 (F)day and night, but I do have him in a cotton long sleeved/footy sleeper at night. When he's still in his sleep I know he gets cool even with his band on. The only other thing I can think of is teething pain or separation anxiety (although he seems a bit young for that one right now.) Good luck and try to get some sleep. Guest guest
hi , I;m so sorry to hear Milan isn't sleeping well. Well it doesn't sound like he is warm. Does he have any red spots when you take the cap off? If yes, how long do they last? I saw from his pic he's not a brachy baby (they take a while to get used to sleeping on a " round " head sometimes. He's not hungry. How about gas? reflux? Hmm, how about teething? The teeth actually start moving around well before you can see or feel the bump where they are about to appear. Have you tried baby tylenol? At this point you might want to try it for one night. I don't think he can have motrin until 6 months or is it 2 months now??? When na is fussy for no known reason I give her motrin. Works well and usually in a wekk or so I feel a new bump in her mouth. Her teeth seem to take forever to come in. Hopefully someone will have some more ideas. mom to na DOC Grad > Well, Milan has been in helmet at night for over a week now, and he > is still not sleeping well. Guest guest
, Thanks for the advice.... He slept a bit better last night. We do give him tylenol for teething, but it has not seemed like that was the issue. He does have some red marks from helmet by his ear (which is getting adjusted Friday), but they dont last over the 1/2 hour. I have to check w/ his ped about motrin, his 6 month appt is just around the corner. I think Motrin works much better than tylenol, so hopefully we can give that a shot! Thanks! > > Well, Milan has been in helmet at night for over a week now, and he > > is still not sleeping well.
