Guest guest
Hiya ! Funny we hear from you right now! I just got my haircut by a family friend whose daughter has a STARband from MFB () and also is quite unhappy with the correction (or lack there of) after 4+ mos. They, like you, rescanned her daughter & she's getting her new STARband Saturday at no cost and will see what happens from there. SOOO discouraging hearing these stories time & time again!! ARGH. Anyhow, I'm VERY happy to hear Abigail did pretty well for her casting and will soon be on the road to roundness. Sorry you had a rough drive, man that traffic is SOOO frustrating, I remember those days like yesterday. Have you told BCBS of your dissatisfaction with her STARband? Did they already pay for the STARband? Debbie > Well, I have good news and bad news… the bad news is that BCBS of MI > denied our request for coverage of a DOC Band for Abigail. Guest guest
Hi , I am going to keep my fingers crossed that the insurance piece will fall into place smoother than the banding has. I cannot imagine a 4 1/2 hour trip with my kiddo. Kudos to you for doing what you feel is right!!!!! I am proud of you for sticking with it, and going above and beyond to do what is best for Abby!! > Well, I have good news and bad news… the bad news is that BCBS of MI > denied our request for coverage of a DOC Band for Abigail. Guest guest
Hi , I'm glad Abigail's casting is behind you! Good luck with your appeal. We have BCBS of MA and they denied us going out of state to CT as well, but we did win full coverage eventually. I think w/us it had alot to do with negative media attention, but still, it is a good possibility for you! , mom to Hannah, DOCband #3 3/30 Cape Cod, Ma > Well, I have good news and bad news… the bad news is that BCBS of MI > denied our request for coverage of a DOC Band for Abigail.
