Guest guest
My son who is now 21 and recovered had two brain spects done. One prior to treatment (age 5) from Dr. Goldberg that showed decreased blood flow to areas of the brain that pointed to the autism diagnosis and again at age 7-8 which showed a much more “normal” brain with increased blood flow to problem areas. You can fix this with proper medical, educational and behavioral interventions. There are many DAN doctors doing great things that help kids improve but it is hit and miss as they all treat autism differently. The one concern I have is when they prescribe antivirals (which was amazing for my kid) some don’t do it at the right dose. It is not given at a high enough dose, I have been told by several medical experts it can make the viruses more resistant to treatment.
