Hi Christie,

Thank you very very much for the links. I will give them a try

shortly. I've been meaning to write to you and tell you how beautiful

Remy is, and what a cute caption that is with her picture! I

appreciated Remy's story you shared with all of us. Your repositioning

really paid off!

Three more quick questions: First: Do you know if someone can have

inter-uterine constraint with a second child, even if there were no

constrictions/constraints with a first child?

And second: Have you heard from Matt Weiland, Ian's father, who posted

some weeks ago. Ian was 15 months old then, I think. Just wondering if

they decided to have him casted for a band.

Thanks for your reply. I will look at those links! If I find anything

in addition to those, I will share them. I appreciate all the hard

work you and the others do to keep this forum so informative! You guys

have helped so many people (including myself)!

Sincerely,

from SC

(Mommy to Olivia (4) and Meredith (14 months-DOC Band @11 1/2 mos)

My First DD, was fine as could be, and Now was breech, I think she must have been stuck and I had a cscetion after my water broke 3 weeks early at 4 AM. SHe has severe plagio, the bigger ear, facial assymetries and tort. But i am certain this all came from her being breech and not moving in there. We will be getting our 2nd helmet sometime this week.. can't wait, she hasn't been in her helmet for 2-3 weeks now. Not like she could ever wear the first one much. But she just turned 6 months, and going on the 2nd helmet, SO Hopefully we receive Super correction, We actually even have seen some improvement from the last one, even though it was never worn full time.

Yes, you can have problems with the second child and none with the first. My daughter had no problems with her first child, but with her second she had to have a c-section because the baby was breach (?) and the found fibroid tumors that she never knew she had. According to the Dr. the baby was not able to move around because of the tumors and therefore he has severe plagio. Chase, my grandson, is now in a DOC band and happy as can be. He has been in the band 3-4 weeks and already you can see improvement. Billie

About constraint, you can have problems with one and not the other.

My dd was breech, although not really constrainted until the end (due

to low fluid). She ended up a c-section and came out with a perfect

little head. Connor on the other hand was head down and dropped

pretty early. He always felt like he was laying to one side. He has

torticollis and plagiocephaly.
