Guest guest
OMG She's so adorable!!!!! It looks like she's swiming in the helmet. And by the time she's done with it, it won't. LOL. Good luck with the helmet!!! I'm sure she'll get used to it. And keep her inside as much as possible when it's this hot and dress her lightly. It worked with and he really didn't have any troubles. Twice he had some prickly heat because we were outside when it was really really hot like on 4th of July. But it cleared up really quickly. Guest guest
Howdy! Hang in there :-) It take some kids a couple days to adjust. Did your orthotist tell you to gradually work your way up to 23 hours? That's what a lot of parents do. Let us know how she is doing tomorrow. Keep an eye on that red spot. , mom to Makenna LLUMC helmet grad '03 --- In Plagiocephaly , " angembal " <angembal@y...> wrote: > Hi Everyone, > got her helmet today. She doesn't like it. Guest guest
Hi Deb, Thanks. She is my cutie. I love her huge cheeks. I have my ac running now to keep her cool. She seems to be a little better with it, but it is still really tight on her cheek. > > Hi Everyone, > > got her helmet today. She doesn't like it. She's pulling > at > > it and crying. Guest guest
Hi, First is so cute!!! Second, how bad is this red mark? Does it go away in an hour? I'm sure the heat is not helping at all. Have you decreased her clothing : ) Can you post a pic of the red mark? If it doesn't go away in an hour that concerns me. If it goes away in an hour then it's fine. Are you going to be on chat tonight - in 30 min? We could discuss then. mom to na DOC Grad SC --- In Plagiocephaly , " angembal " <angembal@y...> wrote: > Hi Everyone, > got her helmet today. Guest guest
OMG is positively scrumptious!! Let me at those cheeks!!! I'm sorry to hear (and see) the red marks. If they didn't go away then I would be concerned too. Was she sleeping/resting on the left side? Colin had those marks after laying on the side but they did go away within an hour. Does it seem slightly loose overall? Colin's was slightly loose for a while which is normal. That pattern is so cute. I look forward to hearing your updates. Sue Colin F. 10 mos.
