Margy - My 2nd dd (born 6/14/99) had seizures at 5 months old and was put on phenobarbital. She was on it until she was 12 months when we weaned her off. The med had been really repressing her personality but as far as developmental delays she was ahead of her older sister. She had one more seizure at 12 months after getting the flu for the first time. She was put back on the phenobarb, although at a MUCH lower dose so it didn't affect her personality. She was weaned off at 18 months and is now 5 years old with no problems at all.
