Hi Cristi,

I am so glad Trey's casting went so well. reacted the

same way, she hated being held down, that and she loves playing Peek-

a-Boo and she just couldn't understand why she couldn't lift the

cheesecloth...LOL. Let us know how the fitting goes

(mom to ,Plagio/Brachy/Tort,banded-5/03,Texas)

PS Doesn't the Brachy diagnoses make you just want to go tell you

ped...nahnahnah i told you so!!!(OK so I actually did just

that..wrote him a 2 page letter!)

Hi,

It sounds as if you both pulled through the casting just fine!

Please do let us know how Trey's initial fitting goes in two weeks

and post some pictures, too - I'd love to see him in his new DOCband!

I found it very interesting that your ped assessed Trey's headshape

from repo as rounding appropriately, while the Cranial Tech ortho

remarked on some brachy, how alarming! I am very relieved that you

trusted your instinct and pursued banding for him, so that he didn't

develop worse brachy.

Take care,

Christie (Mom to Repo'd Remy)

Thanks everyone :) I never noticed I hadn't even posted a face pic

of my son in his folder, so if any one does want to see what he

actually looks like, I threw a couple from Easter (they're the cutest

ones I have of him) in the Treyton folder (TREYTON *grins* there's a

similar name right beside his that a couple of people have clicked on

instead). I took a few pictures during the casting process, will

take some during the fitting and get a final pic of his docband up

when it's all done with!

I am glad to hear that Trey got casted, I have to admit that we did

not have any problems when got casted. Infact, he almost

fell asleep, he was very good. The only time he got frustrated was

when they had to pull the cast off his head after it was set. Have

fun decorating the helmet

Hi Cristi,

The worst is behind you! Good for you for going w/your instincts.

Trey will be on the road to roundness before you know it.
