Guest guest
Hi Christi, That's great!! I didn't take anything to Makenna's casting, but I have heard of parents bringing pacifiers, lollypops, stuff like that. It is a pretty quick process and as mad as they get for being " man handled " , they do recover pretty quick once mom or dad comforts them. Really, it is a lot easier than it looks. It's much harder on mom!! Please let us know how it goes tomorrow :-) , mom to Makenna LLUMC helmet grad '03 --- In Plagiocephaly , " Cristi " <naive_angel@h...> wrote: > They moved Trey's appointment from July 5th to.. tomorrow morning! > Yay! Guest guest
Cristi, In addition to what gave you, take a camera!! Lollipops work great, you might need to take more than one. My mom and ate up the 1 I brought pretty quickly! It is painless for them and remember, it only takes 10 minutes, the bath is wonderful though. Yellow rubber duckies and all! Good luck, let us know how it goes. Dustie --- In Plagiocephaly , " Cristi " <naive_angel@h...> wrote: > They moved Trey's appointment from July 5th to.. tomorrow morning! > Yay! Guest guest
Great news! Two weeks is a life time for our babies! You don't need old clothes, actually: the material comes off easily. But do bring cm=omforts your baby. You will not be able to hold him. So bring: pacifier, bottle of formula or breastmilk, whatever toy makes him feel secure. We were not told anything and had no bottle with us (Lucia won't take the pacifier). I wish I knew it..... Good luck and let us know how it goes. By the way, with Lucia it is not that dramatic. She started crying towards the end, mainly becuase the cast started being heavy on her heada. But by that point it was almost over.
