I went to a craft fair in Lowell (we live in Grand Rapids) and bought a bigger kids stretchy fleece hat. It covered the top of his helmet and pulled down over his ears as well. It kind of looked like a 3 pointed jesters hat. Good luck- - mom to Aidan > do you all use while wearing the helmet? I live in MI and it's > already getting chilly on some days. A larger size hat (some folks have even used an adult small that stretches) works well. I usual bought a 2-4T size, basically trial and error to find one that fit. If you have an Old Navy store near you, I know they have fleece hats that might work.
