Guest guest
Hi Lori- We are so happy for Christian and your family! I am so glad he doesn't have to go through this process anymore and everyone is well and happy with the results. I am also glad you plan on sticking around. You have been a Godsend to our family! For those who don't know, Lori is the first person I met through all of this back on April 1st, when got his casting. She has been a tremendous support to me and my family in SO many ways. On April 1st, Lori supported us and comforted us in the waiting area. She also brought her child, Christian out to show us how his head was progressing. She gave me her phone number and told me to sign on to this website support group. She was right when she said, " This support group has been everything for us during this time " . She also was there when when received his cast last Friday, since Christian's appointment at the Orthotist was right before our appointment. She handed me a big bottle of Isoprophl, and said " this really works to clean the helmet " . Lori was there when had his helmet placed on his head for the first time- and we cried together. She has called me at my home several times to see how we were doing, and also has taken many of my calls with me nerved out. Lori helped us the 1st weekend we had in his band. Thank God she was there because Kast never gave us a schedule to the helmet; they just told us to take off the helmet every hour and check the area for 10-15 minutes and put it back on. Lori was the one to say, " NO! you gradually wear the band..1st day on for an hour - off for an hour, 2nd- day on for 2 hours off for 1 hour...etc.. SO As you can see she has been my BIGGEST support!!!! So, Lori hearing Christian has graduated and done with the helmet, it couldn't happen to a better person! I have tears of JOY for you. This site definitely needed to hear some positive news. I have noticed that we are all in this together- through good times and bad! Give that sweet baby boy, Christian a BIG kiss on his beautiful helmet -free head for us! Guest guest
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY Christian!! Thanks for his great news Lori! I'm sooo happy everything turned out so well. I can't believe he's done already Easy for me to say " already " , but just 10 wks is wonderful. Thank you for your thank you as well, it means a lot to me! I'm very very happy to read you'll be sticking around the group. You're a huge asset to the group & can really help others who may have a fussy baby at first get thru those dreaded first several days, along w/fit issues, etc.etc.. Enjoy that band free, rounder headed son of yours. Debbie > > > Hello everyone! > > > > In light of what my 'plagiopal' Krissy is going through right now, I > > feel guilty even writing this.
