Guest guest
Hi , The key to a good Starband is a experienced orthotist. We have had many members with positive Starband experiences including one of our moderators, . Although, 45 minutes for casting seems a bit odd to me. Usually it ony takes 10-15 minutes. Guest guest
Hi , Please don't let the posts from this week scare you too much! My son wore a STARband and received great correction. We went to a facility that uses the STARscanner so we did not have to endure the casting process, but I have heard that it usually doesn't take more than 10 minutes. Maybe your orthotist is referring to the length of the whole appt, and some prep and clean up time included. I have heard suckers work well to distract kiddos during the casting. Please take a deep breath and relax. More than likely everything will turn out just fine for . Where are you being treated? Please keep us posted! - mom to Aidan --- In Plagiocephaly , " roguem22 " <MICHELLE@C...> wrote: > Hello, > > is scheduled to be casted tuesday by a local orthotist with > a starband.
