Guest guest
Hi Fee, try not to worry about it. I am sure Dr Skinner will continue to monitor you and you can buy armour online www.internationalpharmacy.com www.myrxforless.com I buy mine from the first one because they have different strengths from 1/4 grain upwards Lynda (in the UK) help - how to get hold of Armour Hi Janie & everyone, It seems that somebody high up in the UK has got it in for us Hypo patients. I'm seriously scared after reading Sheila's post rumouring that the wonderful Dr Skinner is no longer allowed to prescribe Armour. Can anybody explain how us people in the UK can get hold of Armour without a prescription? I don't know what is happening over here, but reading your posts, the Endocrinologists this side of the water are as big a bunch of gits as your side. How could Armour be persuaded to make their product more available in the UK? I'd be grateful for any advice on any of the above, I don't know if I've got the energy for another fight just yet. Guest guest
Hi Fee, I should have said that you do NOT require a prescription to order from either of these places. Also, read the letter from MCA on the thyroiduk website that Sheila mentioned - very interesting - but it does state clearly that it is LEGAL to import medicines for your own private use Lynda Re: help - how to get hold of Armour Hi Fee, try not to worry about it. Guest guest
Exactly why is Dr. Skinner no longer allowed to prescribe Armour? This is beginning to scare me. I understand drugs such as morphine/codiene etc...people get addicted to that stuff...this drug keeps us alive. what is going on? Are we to monitor everything we say and do from now on here even on this forum?????? Guest guest
It seems that the Medicines Control Agency is concerned about private doctors prescribing armour and/or importing it without a licence. So now all docs have to be registered with another body (don't know what it is called) and until they have registered are not even allowed to prescribe armour (whether this applies to other drugs, I don't know) Lynda (in the UK) help - how to get hold of Armour Hi Janie & everyone, It seems that somebody high up in the UK has got it in for us Hypo patients. Guest guest
Lynda you're an angel, this is good news, good to have a fallback plan. I tried to get Armour without a prescription before from the Anti-Aging society & they wouldn't send it me. I wonder why these companies don't require one, do you know?
