I have the Hagman books and they are okay. Kind of a generic offering of

basic recipes. Robyn Ryberg's Gluten Free Kitchen is also a more laid back

approach. I like things with a little more jazz and I really love cookbooks

with pictures in them!!! the gluten, wheat & dairy free cookbook simple and

delicious recipes for a healthy life(case of the letters is accurate) by

Nicola Graimes is the 1st GF cookbook I've had that really makes me want to

get back into the kitchen and have some fun. We are also soy free for part

of the family (I usually sub soy sauce with a combo of fish sauce, sushi

vinegar & roasted sesame oil--yummy) but need to adapt the recipes to be egg

free. Other than that I like this cookbook. I haven't tried every recipe

yet. And I still need to figure out what vegetable suet is....Anyone? I know

what beef suet is.

Last fall I had a chance to taste some of Carol Fenster's recipes as

baked by Carol herself at the celiac conference: it was the WORST GF

food I have tasted anywhere! I couldn't believe that my tongue was

finding something so awful, so without saying anything to my husband,

I had him try the cookies. He too absolutely hated them. So we passed

on Carol's books.

I like the Roben Ryberg " Gltuen-free Kitchen " and the Bette Haman

books.
