Guest guest
Which is why I get my posts via individual emails. It is so much faster to work with....no waiting on internet. I have set outlook to automatically put all psots from this group in it's own folder (a subfolder fo my inbox) so the emails are not mixed up with and cluttering my other emails. or rather, my other emails are not cluttering up the email from this group... lol Those of you using outlook express may be able to do the same thing. Guest guest
It might not be just your phone line and it might be your ISP. I use dial up with AOL and most of the time it's connecting above 43K. Guest guest
It can often be the quality of the phone lines in the area. I move around a bit with my lap tops.. I use the same ISP with the same laptop from different locations... this house, in an area with older phone lines, gets the slowest connection rate. I can get a 60 percent faster rate from a friends house in an area with newer phone lines, newer homes.
