Guest guest
Is your son doing GFCF diet. If so then you cannot give Whey (this is casein too) ....Instead you can use Pea Powder or Hemp Powder.NadiaTo: mb12 valtrex Sent: Wed, July 7, 2010 1:48:34 PMSubject: RE:need some help Hi,Can I give my son good quality whey powder that has double bond amino acids? like what brand or where can I get it, because some times he doesn't eat enough protein, this is proteine rigth?Forgive my ignorance, I 'm just trying to meet my son's dietary needs. Thanks a lot,Sasha------------ --------- --------Nitay, I am writing from India.Yes, you are right. There is one doctor who says the methyl B12 shots have to be continued even if there are the "side effects" because children who get these are the ones who benefit. Personally I think you should continue the mb12 shots but do something to control his agitation. I notice that you haven't started vitamin B-6. A better form of B6 available in USA is P5P. And this has to be accompanied with magnesium such as magnesium citrate. You have to build up on B6 and magnesium slowly going up until his agitation is controlled. Also start a total B complex. There are instances where patients could not be calmed down in a mental hospital set up by psychiatric drugs and were finally calmed down when B6 and magnesium was started. I also notice you are doing to heal his gut. What about probiotics and prebiotics. Also just being lactose free will not do. Lactose is carbo'. The trouble maker is the specific protein in milk/dairy called caseine that forms caso-MORPHINE in these childre. So all dairy has to stop. Start a good quality whey powder that has double bond amino acids. And also search for an ABA therapist.-----------Ratan Singh, Phone: 91 141 2652561, mail: ratanpsychhotmail (DOT) com- Certificate in Food & Nutrition; Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education; Life Member, Nutrition Soc. of India; Member ISOM- Author of "Nutrition & Supplements in Major Mental Illnesses";- M.A. (Psychol), Postgraduate Diploma in Medical & Social Psychology, Ph.D.;- Certified Behavior Therapist (from late Prof. J.
