Is that the only kind, it looks kind of stiff. Is Kadem grape juice legal since it's kosher? Guest guest Posted March 24, 2004 Report Share Posted March 24, 2004 Hi Pearl, When I make jello I follow the instructions on one packet of gelatin. You let the gelatin soften in 1/4 cup of liquid. Then add 1/4 cup of boiling water. Stir this until the particles dissolve (2-3 minutes). Then add an additional 1 & 1/2 cups of liquid to make a total of 2 cups gelatin (jello). (I am not 100% sure of the amounts but it should say on the packet). Then refrigerate the mix until firm. Usually a couple of hours. I think Carol checked the Kedem organic that is kosher and it's okay. (they make a smaller size too, maybe 32 oz?) I think I paid about $3.59. I don't know if the Jello cheesecake mix is GF or not, but I do know that you can now buy GF sugar-free/fat-free Jello pudding mix in " cheesecake " flavour! Take care...
