I know Soy itself is illegal. You can go to

Hi Tina,

Glutamic acid is msg , I would stay clear , I've tried it for myself

personally , and it gave me the hot flushed feeling that I get with msg .

Did you read the msg article that I posted to the list , it list hidden forms

of msg in foods. If you are looking for a soy sauce for your self nama Shoyo is

good , but again soy is not legal on scd.

That's probably not legal because it isn't fermented. BUT, wheat free

Tamari is legal. I 've been using that instead of soy sauce. It is

made from soy, but it's fermented so Elaine says it's ok. I have

found Eden brand organic and SanJ brand organic at my regular grocery

store in the Natural foods section. It tastes pretty much the same as

soy sauce, it does contain alcohol.

Grain-free tamari sauce is legal, but it is suggested you add it in

later in the diet.

My son was pretty much addicted to tamari/soy sauce/Braggs but now

on SCD he doesn't want any!
