Guest guest
Deb, I usually do one coat of Mod Podge the first night. You can use a fan to speed things along as far as drying goes if you need to. Then I usually put a couple more coats on over the next couple days. When I did the Easter theme I actually had to peel the mod podge off and re-do it the following day b/c my husband got alcohol on it and a whole area had peeled up. I'll look forward to the new pics! Hope you guys had a nice Easter. , mom to Hannah, DOC #3 3/30 Cape Cod, Ma > > > > > > > Hi Deb-- > > > > > > > > > > > > > > So glad that is adjusting well too! Guest guest
Deb, I put a pretty think coat on I guess. I use one of those little foam brushes. Did you do the whole band or just the stickers? I've never had a problem w/it peeling unless I've gotten alcohol on it by accident and I do the whole thing. I've seen the metallic fish before and they are cute! I've never used their metallic ones though, I wonder if maybe they don't stick as well. I've only used the vellum and opalescent ones. > > Deb, > > I usually do one coat of Mod Podge the first night. Guest guest
It's like the tails of the fish are starting to lift a bit. I didn't get a chance to put the modpodge on last night, so that could be why. It took me so long to get the old stickers off that we ran out of time. Tonight, i'll put a thicker coat on and see how it is. Maybe the metallic one's aren't the best to use. but they're so darn cute!!! Thanks for your help, again. You're my savior.lol.
