Any ideas on adding some new foods for us? We are close to one month now!! I

can't believe it. Abby is dairy free, and also low salicylate. She is eating

banana, mango, golden delicious apple, pineapple juice, " hidden veges " ,

applegate hot dogs, bacon (only about once a week) banana pancakes, lots of

beef, ground pork, pears, cashew butter.............and I guess that's about it.

Any recommendations?

What about chicken or turkey? Pears? -- sorry I don't know much

about salicylates.

Yes, I forgot she is eating some ground turkey and last night I was able to

get her to eat a chicken breast for the 1st time in this month of doing SCD!

I was so excited. I had to marinate it and grill it or she wouldn't eat it.

She eats pearsauce almost everyday. I was just wondering after a month can

you add in some foods from the next phases..........I know you have to wait

on beans but was just looking for some new food ideas. Abby acts like she

is so hungry and thirsty ALL the time! I am taking that as a good sign.

Thanks,

Kathy

Hi Kathy,

Yes, go ahead and try foods from the next phases. Just be sure to

go slowly, and watch for reactions (bowels and behaviour!)
