Guest guest
Hello Janet I think it's great that Tavin is rounding out so nicely. How old is he? My dd Willow was a preemie too and I would have some ?s if you don't mind. What and/or how did they check his vision? No one ever offered to even refer us to have Will's vision checked. But she follows small objects around with her eyes so maybe that is why. Not sure. She was in a band as well and I've never been told that this could affect her vision in any way. How early was Tavin born if you don't mind me asking. Willow was delivered at 35wks and was in the NICU for 3days. She only needed an IV due to me being diabetic, but no help breathing at all. Just the normal suctioning and stimulation I guess. Her apgars were 9 and 9 which is great for a preemie. Well, I look forward to hearing your story. Guest guest
Janet, I'm glad to hear Tavin is doing so well and is seeing correction! That's interesting about your eye appt--we're taking Hannah at the end of the month and I'll be curious to see if our doc is plagio educated. I did read the files we have in our links section about the possible correlation between astigmatism and plagio. As far as the ridge, Hannah has a noticable one too, but it was much more prominent in her more crooked days! , mom to Hannah, DOC #3 3/30 Cape Cod, Ma > I guess you could say his head is 'rounder' not flatter. Guest guest
Hopefully this message will go through and hopefully it won't be a duplicate! Hi Janet, I am glad that Tavin is making progress with his helmet! It certainly helps when you can see the changes! As forehead, I know that the bossing on the forehead is from the plagio, but I could not tell you anyhting about a ridge on the forehead. Sorry! Hopefully, someone else will be more knowledgeable than I am about it! - mom to Aidan --- In Plagiocephaly , " Janet " <syllicat@b...> wrote: > I guess you could say his head is 'rounder' not flatter.
