Guest guest
It's just cream gravy or pan gravy as we call it in the South. I think McCormick does make a mix for it. hugs Pam
Guest guest
OK ladies, here is the recipe for Hutspot. 2 kilo's of carrots, washed and cut in pieces, 4-6 big unions, cut and sliced. 1-2 kilo's of potatoes. 500-1000 grams meat, cooked. Instant Pepper sauce (1 or 2 packages) Cook the potatoes and carrots in separate pan's, slightly salted. Fry the unions, slice the meat. Put the unions and potatoes in one pan and mash them, not too soft though!!! Then add the meat and the unions, stir well. Last but not least the pepper sauce, Bon Appetite!! The left over's are very good when baked at one side or/and with melted cheese on top. Guest guest
Jeana, a kilo is 2.2 pounds, and there 1.000 grams in a kilo, so 500 grams is about 1.1 pounds. Guest guest
I'm not sure about the instant pepper sauce....I'm going to substitute with a package or two of McCormick's Pepper Medley Sauce....and a few dashes of Tabasco never hurts either! stmpcrzy@... wrote: Thanks , now what is instant pepper sauce.
