Combining beta interferon and atorvastatin may increase disease activity in multiple sclerosis.summary: The authors looked at combination treatment

with interferon beta 1a and atorvastatin in people with MS.

Surprisingly they found that people who took both medications had more

relapses and more activity on MRI.
