I have already ordered Cytomel (on the 7th of February, hope and pray it arrives soon) and plan to supplement as needed, judging by my body symptoms.... The more I read about Dr. Lowe's theories the more plausible and " right on target " they sound to me. I know insulin-resistance is taken for granted - my grandfather, type II diabetic, certainly had that - why is it the idea of thyroid hormone resistance is such an overlooked idea? Okay, guys, I will post what my final dosage ends up being, when I get there....not going to post about individual increases though again for the sake of not worrying anyone...does that sound like a pretty good idea? I don't think at this point I'm going to have a problem being hyper. The biggest problem with me at this point is my body's repeated wish to slide back towards hypo....and again that fits exactly the pattern of a fibro patient according to Dr. Lowe.... PattieSue, your doc sounds like a great one! Gentle

If you are doing this from a place that you are comfortable with, don't allow anyone else's opinion to undermine your confidence. I am all for that! I think we each know ourselves and our limitations and what we hope to accomplish best and so we need to listen to our inner voice...no one can know you better than yourself! I find my own experimentation with things to be vital to my health and how I can feel my best. And i usually try not to give advice unless someone has asked for it, because unsolicited advice, no matter how well-meaning is a vexation! Guest guest
My understanding is that Cytomel is hard to find (like Thyrolar.) I am lucky that MyRXforless does carry it - my order was shipped (according to them) the day after I ordered... So I would expect it will arrive within the next week or two, since it's been 10 days since it's been shipped now.. Gentle
