Guest guest
Hi everyone, I have posted pictures in the " Hannah B " folder of her head mold done with Cranial Tech's digitizer at the moderator conference in Phoenix. You can even see her crying face! How neat is that? Everyone who looks at it says, " wow, it even looks like her! " I always say, " well, it is her! " LOL Hannah was also casted for DOCband #3 yesterday in Connecticut, almost four months after her " graduation. " We decided she still has a significant enough amount of assymetry (and didn't seem to be seeing any post graduation rounding) for a third band to help. We can't say for sure if she actually had any regression because we didn't do an exit cast, and even though her head is so much better than a year ago, we still don't feel as though she'd be happy if this is her head shape for life. So, we're jumping on the small window of time we have left (she is 14 months) and are keeping our fingers crossed that our little petite girl will start to grow! I thought the casting would be horrible given her age, but it was really no worse than how she cried for the pictures and even the digitizer. Of course the digitizer takes less than a second, but the pictures took longer than the casting and I'd say were way harder on her! , mom to Hannah, DOC #3 3/30 Cape Cod, Ma

Guest guest
That poor pitiful face! Awwwwww. She's so cute. How cool is that head mold??? Amazing what they can do! I'm hopeful she'll hit some good growth spurts over the next several mos & have some addt'l correction from this band. Let us know when it's in, hope she'll keep it on her head! Guest guest
Wow ---GREAT head mold. It really made it more clear in regard to being able to see the asymmetry that still remains. Wow--- a third band. You are a serious trooper. I completely understand, though. I'm sure I would have done the same thing. Especially if I had 's digitalized head there in front of me. Hannah will absolutely appreciate what you are doing for her. For your sake, I hope CT picked up the cost of the band (ha Ha). I hope it all goes smoothly for you. Thinking of you.
