(Tampa) was casted Tuesday

was casted yesterday at West Coast B & L. He handled it pretty

well considering the process. Poor guy cried a lot but cheered up

once the mess was off his head and he was back in his own clothes.

Boy, this stuff is hard on mom's and dad's hearts. My husband

held him and I tried to distract him with a bottle, etc.

The Starband should be ready in 2 weeks. The orthotist thinks he

will need it 4 - 6 months. He'll be 9 months old soon, but was 2

months premature. She said improvement may be minimal because of

his age, but we are praying for terrific improvement! We'd love to

see his ear and forehead adjust. I'll post pics by this weekend.
