Anyway how does it > sound? When I take minerals I have a little food with it - I thought you were supposed to - I do know, minerals should never be taken with the thyroid meds...anyway - I take my thyroid meds, tyrosine and adrenal meds in the AM upon rising - they are by my bed...C throughout the day and all vitamins and minerals and supplements together after dinner. if you have the AM ones next to your bed, it becomes a habit to do that first thing..I don't know if I could ever remember to stop during the day to take vitamins..but the vitamin C stares at me from the kitchen counter every time I go in there, so that is easy to remember..I hate cluttered counters, so I keep that out where I can't ignore it. What's most important is to keep it like you know you can turn it into a habit...I find the things during the day always get forgotten and I have to keep my regimine as simple as possible...with dogs and others (all who have sudden needs of one kind or another) coming in and out all day long, I am lucky if I remember getting dinner on....but whatever works for you is a good plan in my opinion. Guest guest
Sounds pretty good... You think this one is complicated... I just set up my new one... 34 little quarters and bits of pills and gel caps taken 19 times a day.. some with meals some sublingual.... hehehehe sounds insane.. and I know that Jamy is gonna tease me!!! (hehehehe right, Jamy, my friend?? hehehehehe) but without my handy dandy little home made pill boxes I could never do it... .... and " How's it workin' " for me? FANTASTIC!!! Me.. the one that couldn't stand long enough to do dishes 6 months ago.. remember... Well.. We went to Sam's and I walked most of the store, then we went to Walmart and I did about half the store.. ALL without hanging on the cart!!! then we went to a little local discount grocer and I did that... then back here and unloaded my groceries, brought them in the house, put it all away AND carried a load down to the freezer... AND could still walk!!!! Now, wait... I'm not done yet... A local grocer does random sales with some serious DISCOUNTS (this is what I survive on - these bulk purchases that I do when the sales hit).. this time is a two day sale... Dad and I stayed up till midnight last night to be the first ones there... I walked the whole store to do my shopping.. then went back looking for dad... Hauled the stuff into the house and then a load to the basement... didnt' get to bed until after 2 am AND woke only an hour later than usual - so up by 6:30... went out to get dad's paper and I'm boppin and a dancin in my chair this morning and feeling WONDERFULL!!!! A touch sore, not even yawning! But yesterday was a workout for me... remember.. just a few short months ago I had to sit in a chair to wash the dishes for a meal for one.. I couldn't stand that long. I had to sit in a chair to make an omelet...I couldn't stand that long!!!! Please EVERYONE!!! Listen to your body as it tells you what it needs to heal and get stronger... Its hard to figure it out.. the trial and error is enough to make you want to pull out the rest of the hair on your head... but if you can find that combo that your body needs.... it is SO WORTH IT!!! Once my body has healed and patched up all the damage, from all the years of being under medicated an un-medicated for thryoid and adrenal.. I won't have to take a gazillion supps like I am now... I'm confident in that.. But right now it needs all the extra attention so that it can heal and grow and repair and build up strength and endurance again... I still can't beleive that I did all the walking and lifting yesterday and my feet, my knees and my back don't hurt... JUST WOW!!!! April Fool's Day last year was the day that I decided that I was getting well enough to start doing stretching exercises.. That's it.. just going to bed at night for months and doing nothing more than letting my body re-learn how to move and to stretch... and yesterday I'm moving bulk bags of flour and rice around... and WOW! Oh my... that friend I teased about carrying extra weight and exercise.. that was last October.. after he'd carried in two sacks of flour for me, cause I couldnt' carry them... Yesterday I carried a sack of flour and a sack of rice in... both 25 pounds... I carried them both in the house at the same time.. the same distance and did it without panting like he did!!!! hehehehehehehe You can get better, YOU CAN GET BETTER!!!!! Listen to your body, ask questions and LEARN, then apply that all to helping your body to let you back into LIFE!!!
