Can I boil them off?? how much nut butter is equivalent to actual nuts or not flour? It's been a while, but blanching is done by dropping them in boiling water for 10 -20 seconds, then dropping in cold water. They should pop out of the skins pretty readily. I have usually lightly toasted them after blanching before ginding them into flour.
