It sounds as though the band may not fit right. The red spot combined

with him being so fussy with it on is sounding like you may have a

fit issue. That can be problematic esp in the first week. I think I'd

leave the band off of him until you can get in touch with your

orthotist because if you have skin breakdown he will be out of it

even longer. But you need to call the orthotist as soon as you can

and get in for an adjustment.

And post as many questions as you need to, that is why we are all

here.

I'll 2nd everything Tris says below. Please keep the band off him

til you can be seen on Tuesday. Hopefully, a simple adjustment will

fix the problems, his fussiness & the red spot!! Hang in there. Let

us know what CT says Tues.

I'd agree w/the others that you should definitely keep it off him.

Maybe that is the key to his being miserable in the band! Let us

know what happens and don't worry about posting too much--that's

what we're here for!

This issue is probably said and done, b/c I am in a different time

zone. I would keep the band off till you can get in for an

adjustment. It really sounds as if 's band doesn't fit quit

right. Maybe he has grown already which would be a good thing.

Maybe you can call CT and get in earlier than Tuesday. Keep us

updated. Oh and what kind of board would this be if you can't ask ?

s about bands??? :o)
