Guest guest
OK everytime one thinks that they have seen every situation possible you see something new. My company has been purchased by another and new staff and everything. The new company has a therapists who is telling me that we can bill two evaluations for the same patient same day same discipline. In this example it's a wound care issue. She is claiming that you can bill 97001 for a wound care assessment with one ICD 9 code and then bill another eval for another diagnosis such as muscle weakness, etc.... I have never heard of billing two Evals for the same patient on the same day. Has anyone else seen or heard of this? Dennis Etnier Superlative Rehab **************It's Tax Time!
