Hi,

I wanted to post that I created an Aggressive Repositioning for

Brachy document in the files/repo headquarters/repo strategies

folder. This is the first draft, so any feedback would be welcome!

Repositioning for brachy has special considerations and risks that

every parent of a brachy baby needs to be aware of before deciding

to go repo-only with brachy, so I felt it important to capture these

points in a document specifically for brachy repo'ing.

Thank you for any suggestions that you may have, just let me know!

Christie-

Sounds GREAT!!!! I don't know if repro works for Brachy by 4 months of

no repro. didn't have any success. It was like his growth pattern

said - grow out instead of back. I think this would work though for

children younger than 3 months if they don't sleep on backs. Just my 2

cents.

Krissy,

Thank you for your feedback on the document. I, too, feel that an

earlier repo deadline needs to be made with brachy babies - there is

such a real risk of further widening of the head in spite of the

most determined efforts as you mentioned!! Remy was pretty brachy

to start and we luckily did end up seeing some popping out of the

back from 5-7 months - probably a rarity in the brachy baby world.

I'm going to think on some re-wording of the document to reinforce a

much earlier repo deadline with brachy babies.

I appreciate your taking the time to read it; I was hoping to hear

from moms of brachy babies who had experience with repo!

Take care,

Christie (Mom to Repo'd Remy)
