nut flour birthday cake recipe?

Hi ,

There are great recipes on the pecanbread site. Also, there's an

almond flour lemon cake recipe at

http://www.scdrecipe.com/r_007_00165.html I add 1 teaspoon of vanilla

instead of using lemon to flavour the cake. I also omit the lemon

filling and have frosted it with Elaine's Honey frosting p110 BTVC.

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me. I need a nut flour birthday cake

recipe. I currently use almond flour for cookies. I would welcome

any nut flour recipe though. My son turns 3 in two weeks so I would

appreciate any recipes now so I can try them out first.

Hi ,

I've made this recipe http://www.scdrecipe.com/r_007_00165.html but substituted

vanilla for the lemon to make a vanilla cake, and used Elaine's Honey frosting

(tastes like marshmallow frosting). It was very nice. and my kids loved it.

I may try to make the Peanut butter frosting (recipe is on

http://pecanbread.com/recipes.html under Peanut butter cake) but use almond

butter instead. That would make a pretty light colored frosting that you could

tint if you like.
