Guest guest Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 Hello , Thank you. Yes, love and atention, LTC, is so important. So many with breast cancer and each in our own way. Emotions are strange, they can be against us but I noticed it can be of huge help to understand others and to receive love. And who can better understand us than " colleagues " ??? As soon as you return to the real world after all treatments and look as healthy as I do (I gained weight), people easily forget that being tired, aching joints and muscles, just carrie on for a while. I am now busy writing a " Manual " for Managers about a cancer patient being back at work. In my case, when I returned, (and I have only been off during the Radio Therapay), I did not have a computer, a desk and my old work anymore. Though they want to keep me and invented a new job which changed every other week since then. This costs such an amount of energy, where we already used (and still use) so much energy to keep life as good as it can be! The manual will be written from my own experience and from what I read in articles, on sites. I will soon put a posty up on my web site (forum) about it, really interested about other people experiences. It will take w hile before the manual is ready, I want it to be a GOOD one!!! Hugs, Ike www.paraveterinary.com Quote
