Guest guest
Oh Deb, I feel for you! On Hannah's last picture/casting day the pictures were way worse than the cast! She was just so uncooperative, lol. If you did want to do a second band, couldn't they just cast him for it early? We were told w/Hannah's second band that it was a good idea to cast her early to get fresh new pressure points rather than waiting it out until she grew out of it, which made sense to me since you seem to always get that surge of quick correction that first month in a band. Let us know how it goes! , mom to Hannah, DOCband #3 3/30 Cape Cod, Ma > We decided last appt. to get pics done to check the progress. We > only have about 4 weeks to go, possibly pushing it longer. Guest guest
If you need to go to a 2nd and 3rd band, do they charge you another 3000 bucks? Jocelyn wrote: Oh Deb, I feel for you! Guest guest
Deb, This is a great idea to see where stands with his correction, and how you feel about it. Wehn will you get the progress pics taken? Please share them with us when you get a chance, and let us know what you think. I know we have lots of other members with older babies in bands who would be very interested in how is coming along with treatment. Hopefully the process won't take too long, and will forget about it quickly! Keep us posted, and take care, Christie (Mom to Repo'd Remy) > We decided last appt. to get pics done to check the progress. We > only have about 4 weeks to go, possibly pushing it longer. Guest guest
Problem with that is that so far we're paying this all out of pocket. I don't know yet if insurance is going to pay for it. And we can't afford another $3000. We can barely afford this helmet. He was so upset with the pics. We had to move so quickly. But it's done. Hope to get copies soon.
