Guest guest
I have read in several sources that nuts should be avoided on a anti- yeast diet because of the mold that is always present. Would boiling or baking the nuts before grinding them into nut butter be a solution to this problem?
Guest guest
Hi a, Sorry, I don't know. What if you went with organic nut butters? Do you think that may make a difference? I have blanched almonds in the past when trying to get the skins off before grinding them. But I don't know if it made any difference on the mold " front " . They didn't taste any different then the nut flour I buy locally. But that flour (almond) is from blanched nuts so they may heat treat it to remove skins. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
