Guest guest
Hello Everyone: This is Pat, Ronda's mom! First before I type the poem I would like to everyone for their love and kindness. Ronda has receive many cards in the mail lately and we have hung them up close to Ronda so she can reach them and look at them whenever she needs encouragement. Thank you for your kindness to my daughter. Ronda just opened the cards today even though we received the items in the mail on Tuesday. Lucilla the poem Ronda wants to share with the group came from the very first page of the book that you sent her this author is an encourager and Ronda said to me Mom this would help others who are going through treatment too. I am going to type it for them, I told her no I will type it for you. You need to save your strength for tomorrow night so she agreed. Ronda also said that no one needs to send her cards she knows that you all are praying and love her very much. She loves reading the post everyday or should I rephrase that or Jane reads them to her everyday and all the love and encouragement she gets from each of you. Ronda thinks very highly of each of you and so do I! She is looking forward to chatting with you tomorrow evening and I think it will be so good for her too. I hope that a lot of you will be able to make it you guys need each other and this is good for everyone. Please yahoo be nice to everyone tomorrow and let them get into the chat room all right. I want you to know as I am sitting here writing you and as I sit her all night with Ronda I am praying for each of you as you continue your battle or as you continue to encourage each other through their battle with breast cancer or any other health/situation you may be going through at this time. Know that you are loved and appreciated by Ronda. I also, understand that some of you may be offended by this poem because is mentions God I hope I don't offend anyone by sharing this wonder message that this author has given us to me it is hope for the future something I can hang onto while she is fighting for her life. Here is the poem she wanted to share with you may it tough you as much as it did both of us: Just Enough Light Sometimes Only the step I'm On, or the very next one ahead, is all that is illuminated for me, God gives just the amount of light I need for the exact moment I need it. At those time I walk in surrender to faith, unable to see the future and not fully comprehending the past. And because it is God who has given me what light I have, I know I must reject the fear and doubt that threaten to overtake me. I must determine to be content where I am , and allow God to get me where I need to go. I walk forward, one step at a time, fully trusting that the light God sheds is absolutely sufficient. Each of you are love and thought about daily, Ronda's Mom

Guest guest
What a wonderful poem. I also believe that we must go forward one step at a time. I have done that now for 5 1/2 years and will continue to do so as long as I am here...and I am counting on a long time. Doris > Hello Everyone: > > This is Pat, Ronda's mom!
