Guest guest
Ok it's me agian. I think I am going crazy here. For kicks and giggles I called 's Ped before actualy switching to another doc to realy see why she had felt the way she did about the DOC band and . Before 's doc had said ,no that she didnt beleave in it and would out grow it. Well now after calling her to ask her one more time why she said no and explaining to her that will have the DOC band even if we have to pay for it. I told her what Cranial Tech had said about 's head shape and now she said that she will refer us to a nurosurgon or nurologist and after they find out about the Optic Nerve Hypoplacia, she will then, with out question refer us to Cranial Tech. After all the work I did to find another doc and seek outside evaluations from Cranial Tech she is now changing her mind. I know she had refered a kiddo back in 2000 to Cranial Tech. They had her on file as doing so. Am I crazy or did I just make a circle and end up at the begining again, but now I am getting what I want? Has any one els had to go threw this? I am soooo confused right now. Any suggestions? Alos has any one gone through Health Net HMO and have them cover it?
Guest guest
Please just make sure that this is not costing you precious time. Can you ask your ped to give the Rx Now, and not after you see a neurologist???? Sometimes it can take upto 2 / 3 months before you get an appointment with a neuro. Guest guest
Thanks for sharing your great news with us! I think you should stay with your current ped because this will give her the opportunity to see for herself what these bands can do. It may just make her change her way of thinking and start referring other plagio babies for treatment. Keep us posted. > Ok it's me agian. I think I am going crazy here. Guest guest
How frustrating!! I'm glad she agrees and listened to your rationalization and what Cranial Tech had to say. If you like all other aspects of your ped (besides her being hard headed) then stick with her. Good Luck > Ok it's me agian. I think I am going crazy here.
