Maybe you can find a food co-op to get in.The one that I use is

called something better natural foods

(somethingbetternaturalfoods.com).They have pecan meal and almond

meal, and these are just ground nuts. You can buy nuts in bulk at most

health food stores and grind them yourself in a food processor.I'm

not sure if the food co-op delivers in your area, but maybe you can

find one that does. You can substitute different nut flours for the

almond flour.Hope this helps.

Do you have a Whole Foods Store? I got Almond Flour but it was about $5.00 a

pound! You can order all of that online too-------check the pecanbread

website.

Hi Tina,

Lots of places online: please check for different types of nut

flour.http://www.pecanbread.com/foodprep.html#ready

Yes, that is what I used to do. If you grind longer it will turn to

a nut butter which is not necessarily a bad thing. Some children

tolerate nut butters better at first.

Can other nut

> flours be substituted for almond flour?

Pecan flour/butter is a great substitute.
