Tina Maybe you can find a food co-op to get in.The one that I use is called something better natural foods (somethingbetternaturalfoods.com).They have pecan meal and almond meal, and these are just ground nuts. You can buy nuts in bulk at most health food stores and grind them yourself in a food processor.I'm not sure if the food co-op delivers in your area, but maybe you can find one that does. You can substitute different nut flours for the almond flour.Hope this helps. Guest guest
Hi Tina, Lots of places online: please check for different types of nut flour.http://www.pecanbread.com/foodprep.html#ready > Hello all. Where can we buy nut flours? My local HFS does not carry > any. Can I buy a grinder and grind nuts to a flour? Yes, that is what I used to do. If you grind longer it will turn to a nut butter which is not necessarily a bad thing. Some children tolerate nut butters better at first. Can other nut > flours be substituted for almond flour? Pecan flour/butter is a great substitute. Sheila, SCD 36 mos, UC Long time
