Remember Selenium increases the T4 to T3 conversion.. so perhaps your are

converting adequately without the extra Selenium....

Thanks Topper, I will be going awhile without the selenium.

Another question.....What kind of Vitiam C is the best? Is

there a difference in the C's. Would like to start some C

soon. Is it possible to take to much of it and what amount

should one start with?

thanks for your help

There are Vitamin C tabs that come from Rose Hips... and others that are

made with Ascorbic Acid... Personally I don't have a preference....

Vitamin C is a water soluble.. so excess is passed in your urine.. so you

can really OD on it.. but it can be upsetting if you have a sensitive

tummy.... I prefer splitting up my doses and take some extra with

meals.... put it's pretty much personal choice.. I take an extra (over

and above what is in my multi's) 125 mg 4 times a day regularly.. if I'm

feeling ill with a cold coming on or something... I'll take that quarter

tab (125 mg) every couple of hours all day long....

They also have a timed release Vitamin C available.. that might be an

option for you...

Just don't forget, a water soluble vitamin is filtered out of your system

in about an hour... so the more frequently you take it the better

result... and if that isn't possible.. the time release is a good option.

:( Sad face because I haven't been able to take Vitamin C in pill

form since I developed IC - just sets my bladder off too much.

Common problem with IC'ers, pretty much none of us can take the

Vitamin C in pill form.
