Guest guest
I'm still breastfeeding my tort baby at 4 mos., but it continues to be a struggle. He has a slight preference for one side, but his issues are mainly with his suck (as it sounds like yours was). The Lactation Consultants think that it was from a combination of a tongue/high palate problem, which in hindsight may be related to the tort too. I'm enduring the soreness as of now (helps that I pump at work), but don't know how much longer I'll last. I breastfed my dd for 12 1/2 mos. and I too feel guilty about stopping. I know I shouldn't though since there are extenuating circumstances and you shouldn't either! Actually CST was suggested as a last hope for us too in regards to the breastfeeding. So far I haven't really persued it, although one of the LC's swears by it. Connor 10/15/03 St. Louis, MO > > > Hi! I am writing from Maine.
