My heart just dropped when I read she is in the ICU. You have an incredibly special daughter, and please know she is in my prayers. We serve a mighty God, and He hears our prayers. Please give a hug from us and let her know we are lifting her up. Please also keep us posted on how she is doing. Guest guest Posted June 9, 2003 Report Share Posted June 9, 2003 Hi , A form of Chemo is sometimes used in an effort to stabilize the kidneys when they appear to be rapidly deteriorating. I am not sure the drug they use, but it may be the cytotoxan that is also on. I don't know much about the chemo specifically though other than that general information. Everyone here has been struck by 's optimism and high spirits in the face of the cytoxan treatment. i just went back and reread all of posts. I hope this current round of problems resolve quickly. ICU This is 's dad-we had to rush her to the hospital for yet another fever she was running-she ended up having a seizure late last night and they had to put her in ICU. She is currently in critical condition and in what they are calling a " coma like state " . I know she comes here a lot to seek the support and get questions answered about her Iga-and I find it wonderful that she has access to this site and such incredible people. I too went back to look at her emails and was wondering if she, like many of the rest of us, is suffering from another problem. I do not remember saying anything about any other symptoms. That could be my enfeebled memory, tho... I can only imagine how terribly upset and concerned about her state of health your are.
