Hi :

Who was this guy you saw at MFB? Ears are most definitely

correctible!! Ears are often the most difficult area to correct &

also take the longest to show correction, but trust me, they can

definitely re-align!

As Abby's head rounds, it will hopefully shift the ears back into

place. So please, don't be discouraged!

It's great news her head is rounding already! Woohoo.

The ears are the hardest part to get symmetrical, but it can and does

happen. Don't worry about something you cannot control. I know it

is easy for me to say, but that was one of the biggest issues that we

were worried about as well. And it did turn out just fine!

Are you going to be doing PT and OT at MFB as well? We are almost

finished, and I can tell you it well worth the wait. The therapists

there are wonderful!

Chin up - it will get better. I have been where you are and worried

about my son's ears - he had severe plagio. He is close to being done

with his helmet (not the same as yours). His ears have showed some

correction... though honestly it was slow. He has been in his helmet

for 3 months now and I'm starting to see it in his ears... even a

little now. We did talk to the doc about surgery to correct it if

NEED BE when he's 2/3 yrs old.

Take a deep breath and think about how beautiful your lil one

already is and how much more so she will be. Just takes a little

time.

Look in the Before and After section, in the DOCband folder, you can

see my daughter's pictures her name is . Her ears DID realign,

these bands can and do correct asymmetry.
