Guest guest
pics what pics. I gotta go look Darcy " heather o. " wrote: I'm so glad that things are going better. I LOVE the new pix of you and Mike. The two of you look so happy and in love. Congrats on the new bundle of joy!!! Ruby is a beautiful name. When you get some pix of that sweet baby you NEED to post them. Miss you!!! Hugs!! PS: I'll be praying for the friend you mentioned in your post. I hope things turn out well for her. > Hi all -- I have been trying to keep up, but I am in the same boast as so many others...too much to do and not enough hours in the week. > We have a new baby in the house. She is a year old fawn boxer (as though is any other breed of baby...), very plain (meaning limited amount of white markings) with a beautiful black face and lots of worry-wrinkles in her brow. She came to us with the name Red, but we weren't convinced it fit her, so her name is now Ruby. As those of you who are local know, I have a bracelet that Mike gave me several years ago on mother's day, that has my " children's " names spelled out in beads. And when we got Jack, I found a heat charm with his name that Mike attached to the bracelet. I am now o nthe hunt for a 'Ruby' charm to add. I think I will really start searching next week... > I miss my Cleo so very much, but Jack is helping me cope with that loss with lots of snuffles and kisses..and Ruby has melted Daddy's heart and loves hime so very much already. I had forgotten how much energy the young ones have...and now 2 together...eeek! > I will post some pictures of the kids this weekend for all to admire...(Wink) > > FYI -- I am posting some new pics of Mike and I tonight, too. We had these taken a couple weeks ago, (the day before Cleo died, actually) and I think they turned out well. It is very strange to look at the pics...I recognize my husband, but not entirely sure who the woman hanging on him is. Even after 2 1/2 years I don't recognize myself. The pictures make me look far prettier than I am, but it is kinda neat. > As for Mike -- please notice how skinny he looks since surgery...YOWZA! I think he looks great. > For all the heartache we have had this wear, we will make it through, and come out better people on the other side. I have a friend that is going through difficulties in her own life, and I count my blessings that I am not having to deal with that stress...I don't think I could make it through. She is an amazing woman and I admire her strength and determination (my friend, if you read this -- know that I love you and will be here to help you however you need help...) > > -- I am so glad that Bryce did well through surgery. > Robyn -- I hope you are having a blast and w will see you soon. Sorry to hear about the diagnosis, but thank Heavens that somebody finally figured out hte problem. Now maybe they can actually treat it and get you to feeling better! > Kat -- take care of yourself! > -SasMnky -- Blessings to you always -- keep your chin up and your focus straight. All will turn out as it is supposed to. > Alisa -- hope all is well with you. I know you were having some tough days but I haven't seen any new comments in the last few days (I may have just missed them). I hope you are getting through and your days are brighter! You are a blessings to all who know you (even if it's only through cyberspace). > Bobbi -- blonde...wowza, lady! You look fab!!! > To everyone else -- thank you fr all your love and support through these months. I could not have gotten throgh all this without the support of all my friends here! > > blessings to you all! > jb-bb > > > > >
