Guest guest
I think your response was very nice Gentle, and not offensive or arguementative at all. I hope you will give some of them points to ponder and check it out for themselves. You definately tweeked their curiosity anyway! Good for you! Guest guest
Gentle. You have a disease that the mainstream knows little of. Your name fits you, you are a gentle kind soul. You answered and stood your ground on your rights at the same time. You will lock horns many times in the next few years in your quest for health. You did all you can do to maintain a balance. That is all Karma or God could ask! Re: Decided I ought to respond to offical endocrinol... I think your response was very nice Gentle, and not offensive or arguementative at all. Guest guest
Thank you, Loriann, and thanks too for caring that we military folk have to go to such crummy health care facilities, LOL! I really wish that I could just go to civilian ones, but around here at least you need special authorization each time you go to a civilian doc rather than military. And if that civilian doc charges for something TRICARE doesn't want to pay, YOU end up paying. Case in point - went to the orthopedic specialist last summer about my knees. Was told to bring X-rays, MRI's, all available records. So I did. Well, TRICARE paid for the doc to look at the MRI but not the X-ray. So there was a couple hundred dollar charge for looking at the X-ray that I had to pay out of pocket. Not good. In other parts of the country, I was able to go to a civilian doc if I wanted. Here, they say " no " to that, you have to go to the military docs if they can fit you in. I guess because the docs around this area are so very expensive. Guest guest
Thank you so much Jamy! To be honest I almost wanted to write, " send it back? What do you mean, send it back? Good thing this doctor can't dictate to me what to do regarding my health... " I thought that was an arrogant phrase. Shrug. So I had to make sure I didn't let any of my anger show...
