Thanks Jack,

That is a very interesting article. I for one was diagnosed with high

cholesterol before I got my IgAN diagnosis, and I KNEW it was not related to

diet, I

am very thin so I knew obesity was not the cause, and they could not figure

out why it was high.

It seems to have lowered mine. My cholesterol dropped from 205 to 161. The

only caveat is that the 205 was not measured just before starting the diet, more

like a year before, but I made no other significant changes in diet in the

interim. I have no idea what my HDL/LDL ratio is.
